TSPROF K03 Pro rack and pinion elevator

The modern TSPROF K03 Pro rack and pinion elevator has an involute (toothed) rack with infinitely variable adjustment and allows the angle to be adjusted to an accuracy of 0.1°. The extended angle housing, due to its advanced design, allows sharpening knives in a range of working angles from 10° (with fillet clamps from 8.5°) to 39° and a total angle of up to 78°

The movable part is dovetailed to the base to ensure absolute angle accuracy. And an additional locking screw allows the elevator to be locked firmly in place during skinning operations. An additional lifting rod is used to increase the sharpening angle. It is now easier to lock its position: the locking screw can be mounted on both sides of the housing. The lifting stem is made of a durable polymer material – polyacetal. It is an ultra-strong, high performance polymer with a density of 1.420 g/cm3. Polyacetal has excellent anti-friction properties, providing excellent smooth running of the rack and pinion elevator. The polymer is black in color, with high wear and abrasion resistance. It retains its pristine appearance and smooth shiny surface for a long time. The slider is attached through a dovetail joint, which eliminates backlash of the mechanism during operation, which could affect the quality of sharpening. A steel rail is responsible for the operation of the lifting mechanism. Angle measuring scale is applied on the front side of the slider and gives the opportunity to visually control their installation.

The elevator is supplied complete. Installation is done in place of the standard elevator.

The elevator can be installed on Models K03 and K01RP, and with the upgrade kit on the Profile K02 sharpener.
