TSPROF abrasive holder with carbon guide

The TSPROF abrasive holder with a carbon guide is a professional solution for precise and consistent sharpening of tools in TSPROF systems. The carbon guide is much lighter than steel, significantly reducing hand fatigue. The smooth carbon rod ensures minimal friction and smooth glide, improving sharpening accuracy. Once the rod and the pivot bushing are lapped together, you won’t be distracted by extraneous noise while working; the only sound you want to hear is the abrasive grains removing metal.

The rod travel limiter, coupling sleeve, abrasive holder with protractor, and parking space are mounted on the carbon fiber rod and secured with cylindrical bushings with holes. When rotated, the locking nut displaces the bushing, which tightly grips the rod, ensuring each element is securely held in place.

One of the abrasive holder stops is equipped with an Axicube Shift electronic protractor (an updated version of the Axicube-i) with a Picatinny rail mount. Now you can work with or without the protractor, which is securely attached to the holder with magnets and a mounting screw, reducing stress on the abrasive stone during sharpening. The screw for fixing the protractor can be mounted on either the left or right side.

The Axicube Shift electronic angle meter mounts on the abrasive holder and displays the set sharpening angle with an accuracy of 0.1°. The Axicube Shift helps monitor the sharpening angle in real time and track any angle changes, such as when changing abrasives. The bright display makes it easy to read in any lighting conditions. The angle meter is housed in a durable, vibration-resistant aircraft-grade aluminum housing.

The Axicube Shift is equipped with a removable lithium-polymer battery. It is charged via a USB Type-C port. A single charge provides up to 24 hours of continuous operation, and the inclinometer will indicate when it needs charging with a “Lo.” message on the display when turned on. Charging takes 15-20 minutes, using up to 0.5 A and 5 V. To ensure reliable operation, the device requires monthly charging.

It is recommended to store the protractor at a temperature not exceeding +27°C.
