The sliding part is connected to the base by a dovetail, which guarantees absolute accuracy of angle setting. An additional locking screw allows the elevator to be locked firmly in place during deburring operations. An additional lifting rod is used to increase the sharpening angle. It is now easier to lock its position: the locking screw can be mounted on both sides of the housing.

The elevator mating part is made of durable aircraft aluminum. It provides excellent smoothness of movement due to the advanced shape of the steel rail teeth. The slider is attached via a dovetail joint, which eliminates backlash during operation that could affect the quality of sharpening. Angle measuring scale is applied on the side surface of the slider and allows to visually control their installation. A high grade Teflon lubricant is used to ensure the rack and pinion hoist mechanism works. It forms a slippery, corrosion-resistant, transparent film that guarantees smooth running as well as protection against water, oil, dirt and dust.

The elevator is supplied complete. Installation is done in place of the standard elevator.

The elevator can be installed on Models K03 and K01RP, and with the upgrade kit on the Profile K02 sharpener.
