TSPROF Lenticular Sharpener, Ultra 8 mm

The sharpening tip helps you to perform convex sharpening, creating a lenticular approach. This sharpening is especially suitable for knives designed for power work, subjected to heavy loads.

The nozzle allows you to set any difference to create the most optimal shape of the approach. By adjusting the two brass lens segments, a minimum sharpening angle of 21.5° per side can be achieved.

Designed for sharpening devices TSPROF: Profile K03 Pro and Profile K03 Lite. It is mounted on the abrasive holder with a rod diameter of 8 mm. The lens is adjusted by bending the two segments of the holder rod relative to each other. The nozzle is quickly mounted on the rod and allows fine tuning of sharpening angles.

The adapter provides a uniform change of angles over the entire width of the undercuts, as a result of works the radius shape of the lens is obtained. In the process of abrasive movement along the underfeed from the line of the cutting edge to the knife edge, the range of angles changes in the direction of angle reduction. The nozzle is suitable for any thickness of knife information.

The laser marking has approximate values of the degree of curvature of the lens and is not intended for precise angle setting. Use an electronic angle gauge to accurately set the lens radius.

The nozzle is installed in the gap of the abrasive holder guide and is fixed with set screws under the hexagonal key 2,0 mm. The holes for fixing have a special form, providing fixing of the rod “on three points” to exclude any backlashes.

To set the angle of curvature it is necessary to loosen the locking screws under the hexagonal key for 3,0 mm.
