Universal attachment for lenticular sharpening of knives “Lens TSPROF” Pro, is an adapter, which is mounted on the abrasive holder and provides a uniform change of angles across the entire width of the pads, resulting in a radius shape of the lens. Suitable only for steel bar sharpeners Profile K03 Pro and Profile K03 Lite.

The lenticular sharpening, or convex sharpening, works very well under impact loads, when cutting reeds, coastal shrubs and grass, large raw bones, horny limbs.

The angle ranges are determined by the position of the rod in the nozzle. The nozzle is labeled with the corresponding angle range. As the abrasive moves along the feed from the cutting edge line to the knife edge, the angle range changes in the direction of decreasing angle. The sharpening angle range must be selected depending on the thickness of the knife point. For a minimum thickness of 0.2 – 0.4 mm, a sharpening angle of 4.3 degrees is suitable; for a medium thickness of 0.4 – 0.6 mm, a sharpening angle of 7.2 degrees; for a thick reduction of 0.7 mm or more, a sharpening angle of 10.7 degrees.
