TSPROF clamp, double

Profile clamps securely hold any blade shape, ensuring that the jaws adhere to the planes of the knife’s edge and the blade has open access to the blade for processing. They are suitable for Profile and TSPROF Kadet sharpeners as well as TSPROF Pioneer. The clamps are based on three basic elements: base, flat springs, clamping jaws. Powerful jaws are connected to the base through flat flexible springs, which provide a universal fit, when the knife is installed in the clamp, the springs go from a free state to a tense state, thus the rigidity of the fastening increases significantly. At the same time, the fixing and adjustment screws in the clamp bundle form a rigid geometric system and, at the same time, allow a wide range of adjusting the clamp to any shape of the blade and ensure symmetry of installation. The minimum knife sharpening angle is 10°.

From the whole range of Profile clamps, this type of clamp is the most universal, unlike the single clamp it is now possible to clamp thin and long blades. Thanks to the two gripping points, blade deflection is eliminated. The clamps can be moved independently along the entire length of the frame. Suitable for table and fillet knives with a narrow blade. But, unlike the single clamp, the jaws of the double clamp are narrower, 16 mm wide, so it is not recommended to clamp knives with a shank wider than 3.5 mm.
