Boride T2 F400 stone, on the form
Pre-order 14 days
Description
The blue T2 series is made of aluminum oxide and uses a very hard bond.
Due to this it has high performance and a below average wear rate.
Boride recommends the T2 series as the best series for stainless steel work.
Stone size: 150X25X6mm (1/4*1*6")
Grit: 400 grit.
Material: Aluminum Oxide
Scuffs and light white streaks are allowed on the working surface of the stone. They do not affect the work of the abrasive. Small chips are allowed, not affecting the working surface of the stone.
Recommendations for work: In sharpening with Boride T2 series stones and their maintenance there are no special deviations from the general recommendations and regulations. When sharpening it is possible to use both oil-based and water-based coolants. Stone cleaning is done in water, with a stiff brush and soap solution. Stones are leveled on a thick glass or mirror using silicon carbide powder.
Attention! The stones require careful work: do not press on the abrasive during sharpening (especially when sharpening the tip/point of the knife), do not allow to break off the plane of the blade and do not allow the stone to fall on a hard surface.
