Arkansas Hard is a natural stone for sharpening. It is a microquartzite (novaculite) rock. It works effectively on most steels. Characterized by high grain uniformity and cleanliness of work. It is used for pre-finishing and finishing sharpening.

The stone is supplied without a blank.

Grit: 800-1000 grit (JIS)

Working Recommendations: Arkansas Hard natural stones do not require soaking in water. Work with the application of oil.

*The dimensions of natural stone after cutting may vary slightly within ± 5%.

**Small stains and streaks are allowed on the surface of the stone, which do not affect the quality of the stone.

***Significant chipping of up to 1mm is allowed on the ends of stones that are not working surfaces.
