The Alpha 5/3 (5000 grit) is a narrow sharpening stone for finishing the cutting edge. It is suitable for sharpening knives with an S-shaped cutting edge (recurve), blades with complex geometry as well as short blades of multi-purpose knives and multitools.

TSPROF Alpha is a unique rubber-bonded diamond bar that performs incredibly clean. Through a lot of experimentation, we were able to achieve the perfect combination of bonding agent and optimal concentration of abrasive particles. As a result, the TSPROF Alpha runs very clean and has the highest wear resistance.

The TSPROF Alpha can easily handle all steels up to 70 HRC. Each bar is carefully prepared and unopened, ensuring minimal variations in thickness within ±0.1 mm. The chamfers on the bar are uncovered to prevent sharp edges from damaging the knife.

The TSPROF Alpha are glued to an aluminum blank that has 45° bevels for a secure fit in the abrasive holder. The blanks are anodized in red color*.

The blanks are packed in individual blister packs.

Because of manufacturing, abrasive width and length may vary up to 5% from the values specified in the description.

Owing to the peculiarities of the anodizing process, the shades of the blanks may vary slightly.

Recommendations for use: We recommend working with TSPROF sharpening oil.

WARNING! Brushes require careful handling: do not press on the abrasive during sharpening (especially when sharpening the tip/ankle of a knife), do not break off the blade feed plane and do not drop the brush on a hard surface.

If a parasitic risk appears during sharpening, we recommend lapping the abrasive on a frosted glass with water.
