. The Alpha 2/1 narrow bar (11000 grit) is designed for finishing and polishing the cutting edge. It is suitable for sharpening knives with an S-shaped cutting edge (recurve), blades with complex geometry as well as short blades of multi-purpose knives and multitools.
TSPROF Alpha is a unique rubber-bonded diamond bar that works incredibly clean. Through a lot of experimentation, we were able to achieve the perfect combination of bonding agent and optimal concentration of abrasive particles. As a result, the TSPROF Alpha runs very clean and has the highest wear resistance. TSPROF Alpha Diamond Bars can easily handle all steels up to 70 HRC.Each bar is thoroughly prepared and unopened, ensuring minimal variations in thickness within ±0.1 mm. The chamfers on the bar are uncovered to prevent sharp edges from damaging the knife. TSPROF Alpha abrasives are glued to an aluminum blank that has 45° bevels for a secure fit in the abrasive holder. The blanks are anodized red*. The blanks are packed in individual blister packs. Due to the anodizing process, the shades of the blanks may vary slightly. Directions for use: work with TSPROF sharpening oil is recommended. Warning. Gentle handling is required: do not press on the abrasive during sharpening (especially when sharpening the tip/ankle of a knife), do not break off the blade feed plane and do not drop the bar on a hard surface. If a parasitic risk appears during sharpening, we recommend lapping the abrasive on a frosted glass with water.- Description
